Some rather confusing and contradictory notes here. We don't seem to show a fireless loco at Hamburg PA and CNJ 113 is a conventional steam locomotive.

I would like to retract my previous note below from 2016. This Fireless locomotive still exists in Hamburg, PA at the RTCHS. the fireless in Lewisburg, PA (direct sister to this one) was scrapped in February of 2014 Posted: Feb 17, 2016 @ 08:02:33 by Tyler Fenderson Locomotive was scrapped February of 2014!! The engine is NOT scrapped. It is still here and surviving.

This particular locomotive was not scrapped. It only had some parts taken off of it, although it may still be scrapped.

Currently sitting right next to 11/15 north across from Country Cuboard Restraunt at Lewisburg,PA on a spur track. Has a caboose connected to it.

Both Porter 8189 (currently listed as being in Lewisburg, Pa.) and this loco were operable and used sporadically until the winter of 1988, when they were retired. This loco was sold off to a private owner at the BM&R, who later died.

It and its sister were featured in Railroad Model Craftsman, sometime in the mid eighties. They were still in use then, working a power plant, but were nearing retirement as a special diesel locomotive had just been purchased.

this enging is owned by the geigertown central railroad. it is a museum trying to get started in geigertown pa.
