The former Pen yr Orsedd Quarry Hunslet built 0-4-0ST Works No. 827 "Sybil" is operational for now and has relocated to the Richmond Light Railway at Headcorn in Kent on long term loan to them.

It was announced yesterday that 902 has been acquired by the Michigan Flywheelers Museum in South Haven, MI. It is planned to be in operation hauling visitors around the museum grounds in 2022! (It will be on display for the 2021 show).

903 is now on display in the lobby of the Hanson Technology Center at Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor, MI. Future plans include using the locomotive as a part of the Fab Lab program at LMC, and eventually getting it back to operation.

I visited Brazil in 2016. Then 206 was located in Rio Negrinho and 201 was derelict in Tubarao. Numbers swapped?

I am confused regarding no. 100 as the photo clearly shows it to be 300 .100 is a 2-8-0.

This locomotive was built by Vulcan Foundry, Newton-le-Willows, Lancashire, UK and not by Vulcan of Stettin. It was one of 35 supplied in 1920 (works no.s 3235-69) to the military Artillerie Lourde sur Voie Ferree. After the war they were sold to the PLM as 140.K.1-35 and later became SNCF 140C 36-70.

Fa 9 was purchased by the Auckland Farmers Freezing Company in 1943 and converted to diesel in 1953. The trailing bogie was also removed at the same time making the locomotive a 0-6-0DM. After a number of years at AFFCO’s Horotiu works the locomotive was transferred to AFFCO’s Moerewa works near Kawakawa where it ended service in 1994. The locomotive was then acquired by the Bay of Islands Vintage Railway in 1994 and put on display.

Russell, 35028s visit to the Bluebell is not her first gala at a preserved railway. She attended the Mid Hants 2014 spring gala. Therefore her stay at the Bluebell is her second gala visit at a heritage line.

The locomotive was recently acquired by US Sugar and plans to move it south to Clewiston, FL are underway. Move’s expected to take place in August.

Currently having some much needed work being carried out the ex LMS Princess Coronation Class Pacific 4-6-2 No. 6233 "Duchess of Sutherland" will soon be returning to the mainline again in late August and will also be visiting the Severn Valley Railway for their Autumn Steam Gala from the 16th to 19th of September 2021.

Instead of being withdrawn from service for overhaul the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway has announced that former Midland Railway 4F 0-6-0 No. 43924 has gained a boiler ticket extension and the locomotive is to remain is service for another year.

Former GWR 5700 Class 0-6-0PT No. 5786 (London Transport L92) will be going on loan to the Epping Ongar Railway in Essex from September 2021 until early January 2022. During its stay at the Epping Ongar the locomotive will be a key part at their London Transport Weekend from the 8th to 10th of October 2021.
