This locomotive was built by Vulcan Foundry, Newton-le-Willows, Lancashire, UK and not by Vulcan of Stettin. It was one of 35 supplied in 1920 (works no.s 3235-69) to the military Artillerie Lourde sur Voie Ferree. After the war they were sold to the PLM as 140.K.1-35 and later became SNCF 140C 36-70.
