Please up-date notes of 11 March 2009. Details are correct, KBG is Konigsburg, with location at the station. Loco first allocated to Konigsburg 2407, transferred to MGD Bukarest in 22/6/1916, to CFR as 230-050 in 1919, re-numbered CFR 230-039 in 1921, to SZD in 1942, returned to CFR as 230-039 after the war.

Perhaps a typo but 2419 should be KBG 3 2407. It is located at the north end of the station and appears on street view.

This locomotive was delivered to Tata Ltd., for a children’s railway in New Delhi, and which may be the government facility now called the National Bal Bahvan (Amusement park) Kotla Road, 110002 New Delhi, situated near ‘India Gate’ The construction number is 17655 as K-M No. 17665 no longer exists.There is also a narrow gauge railway around the nearby, National Railway Museum in 110021 Chanakyapuri, New Delhi though not necessarily of the same gauge where there are many locomotives present of varying width’s.

Vulcan 2352 became 230.039 and it is preserved at Sinaia Station 230.139 if it exists is Resita 179 of 1932.

BR Standard 4MT 2-6-4T No. 80080 will be staying on at the Great Central Railway to take part in their Railways at Work Gala weekend on the 19th and 20th of March 2022. After that No. 80080 will go back on hire to the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway for the 2022 operating season there.

The ex Staveley Iron & Steel Co. Avonside built 0-6-0ST No. 24 "Stamford" will be staying at Rocks By Rail: The Living Ironstone Museum for good now as the Bluebell Railway have sold the locomotive to them.

Whilst it belongs to DDM it left there in 2018 and is currently being restored to working order at Rottweil hopefully in time for its centenary. But covid and lack of funds probably means it will not be done in time. It may stay at Rottweil for at least five years.

The company that ran this loco last was Steklarna Hrastnik hence the SH. It translates as Hrastnik Glasworks.

Initially supplied to the Franzberger Kleisbahn as their No 4i, later No. 122. It worked for the DR 1949-1968 as No. 99 5605 and was on display in the Freizeitpark Minidom, Düsseldorf-Ratingen 1973-1974 before moving in 1980 to Bruchhausen-Vilsen. Whilst I have record of it’s name, that cannot be said of an apparent number!

Initially Franzburger Kreisbahn No. 5i, later No. 123, which only became DR No. 99 5606 for that concern 1949 - 1972. It was then purchased privately and is now believed, since 2009, to reside at Schwäbisch Gmünd.

This locomotive was delivered to the KPEV and initially served with their Königsberg (now Russia) Division as No. 2407 before moving, in 1916,, to Bucharesti in Romania, later assuming it’s present identity.

Locomotive originally built for the Liegnitz - Rawitscher Eisenbahn (LRE) becoming their No. 103 before moving to a couple of private companies, ending in it’s current identity abroad.

The locomotive was originally KPEV Essen Division and, in 1925, became DRG No. 78 246, as it was also for DB from 1948.

It turns out that A Wolf AG bought the Christian Hagans company from his family, reason unclear, during 1915 but continued with his serial numbers from 1828 at their factory in Magdeburg-Bukau

This was originally built for the Smyrna, Cassaba and Prolongements Railway (as it had become, previously prior to delivery the SCP) as their No. 112. All private railways were ‘Nationalised’ (from 1934) in Turkey, the Republic actually being formed in 1923, the locomotive only then assuming it’s current identity.

Sorry I beg to differ. ME 3258 was Eürttembergische Staatsbahn T3 938. ME 4092 OF 1922 was indeed built for its own use as works shunter. First noted as preserved in 1968 it has had several homes. It is now in Stuttgart-Obertürkheim being restored again in the premises of the firm Paule. Its final home is still to be decided. Yes it was "89 357" for a while.

This locomotive is now in Kearney, Missouri at the Fun Farm Pumpkin Patch. It is receiving work to enter operation later this year along with fellow Crown #24.

The 01.5 class of locos were rebuilt with new Reko boilers at Meiningen Works from 1962 to 1965.(01-509 in 1963)

Owned by the DB Museum this locomotive remains in the Koblenz annexe. As far as I know it has never been to Nürnberg.

Originally supplied to KPEV in their Berlin Division as No. 1808, later 6146. It became DRG No. 89 7403 in the 1926 amalgamation but was sold to a couple of private railways before coming under the auspices, in 1949, of the DR in it’s current identity.
