DRG (Klöckner; Ruhrkohle) 0-6-0T No. 80.014 (5; RAG D 271, RAG 5)Posted by: Dale W Fickés on Jan 30, 2022 @ 09:01:58
My note of 25 August, h2020 was incorrect (apologies). As ILFORD has correctly pointed out in 2019 the construction number (belonging to Hagans) of THIS locomotive is Hagans (Erfurt) 1228 of 1927, not to be confused with 80 013!

DB (DRG) 0-6-0T No. 80.013Posted by: Dale W Fickés on Jan 30, 2022 @ 09:01:04
As with ‘sister’ 80 O14, builder number is that of Hagans (Erfurt).

PKP 0-8-0T No. TKp100-4 Posted by: Dale W Fickés on Jan 30, 2022 @ 09:01:15
The build number 1149 is actually that of Hagans (Erfurt) to whom it should now be recorded though, of course, Wolf of Magdeburg is known to have had a connection with that company.

DB (KPEV) 0-6-0WT No. 89.7462(1854)Posted by: Dale W Fickés on Jan 30, 2022 @ 08:01:48
I forgot to mention that KPEV numbers, were themselves frequently changed on reallocation, by district, often duplicated and in this instance this locomotive was based in the Hannover area. L

Locomotive was numbered Both 1854 and 6193 by KPEV before, in 1925, becoming DRG No. 89 7462, DB only from 1949 until 1960 when it was withdrawn and first preserved in Zoo Köln until 1998 whence it moved to Nürnberg, except 2000 - 2006 for a spell in Koblenz.

Stadtisches Gas, Wasser & Elekrizitatswerk 0-4-0WT No. 2s (17) 'Finchen'Posted by: Brian Garvin on Jan 29, 2022 @ 15:01:43
This caused some detective work. The works number is wrong. The only 0-4-0T at Heilbronn is Margarethe. But tracking gas and water found found it to be Karlsruhe Gaswerk built by 0&K as 7685 of 1919. It is now on display at Kulturlokschuppen in Neumünster Schleswig-Holstein

Sablière Pastre St Gemme 0-4-0T No. Posted by: Brian Garvin on Jan 29, 2022 @ 14:01:40
Interestingly the Heilbronn works list I have shows it as metre gauge but that info may be wrong. No current photo though.

DB 2-8-2T No. 86.348Posted by: Brian Garvin on Jan 29, 2022 @ 14:01:01

Faber & Schnepp (Alfred Kunz & Co) 0-4-0T No. 2Posted by: Dale W Fickés on Jan 29, 2022 @ 07:01:02
Originally built for Alfred Kunz & Co, München on Henschel & Sohn frame No. 25510. It was later sold on to various construction companies, i. e. Fabre & Schnepp, Gießen (on behalf of G. Fernie, Großen Linden, Heße); Mucke, Groß Eichen and Fortuna, Solms-Oberbiel. I have no record of this being numbered No. 2 (though possible at one of these companies) though the number ‘7029’ is now quoted by some sources!

BDZ 0-8-0T No. 489.60 (1142)Posted by: Dale W Fickés on Jan 29, 2022 @ 04:01:48
Many a enthusiast, including myself, have been fooled by the ‘false’ plate it bears! Mystery solved. This is NOT a Henschel & Sohn, nor is it’s alleged construction number still extant! It is in fact Smoschewer, Breslau (now Wroclaw) No. 776 built for the Heeresfeldbahn (HF) after WWI as No 1142, although being delivered straight to BDŽ as their No. 489.60.

GES (F.H.S) 0-4-0T No. 6 'MARGARETE'Posted by: Dale W Fickés on Jan 28, 2022 @ 13:01:59
Initially delivered to the F.H.S., Lauchertal (Baden-Wütt) named ‘MARGARETE’ and worked until 1970. It moved, in 1976, to Stattgart as No. 6 at G. E Von S. before going to the SEH in Heilbronn, retaining both number and name in 2003. It may not have survived the fire here, or moved elsewhere again?
