A few years ago this locomotive was acquired by the Arizona Railway Museum in Chandler, AZ.

The sole surviving ex GWR 1600 Class 0-6-0PT No. 1638 is at Leaky Finders at Hele near Exeter in Devon, for a thorough bottom end overhaul in their new heavy engineering workshop there.

The ex GWR Small Prairie 2-6-2T No. 5552 has been relocated to Leaky Finders at Hele near Exeter in Devon, where the locomotive is now being overhauled in their brand new heavy engineering workshop there.

The ex GWR ‘Small Prairie’ 2-6-2T No. 5526 will be visiting the Swanage Railway in Dorset for a few months of their 2022 season. Starting from the February bank holiday week No. 5526 will be hauling trains there from the 19th to the 27th.

The location is actually in Gärdserud 10 km to the south east. It is displayed in a private garden of Mr. S. Mörling.

The museum is in fact the old locomotive shed Ekomuseet.

This one caused me think but I have solved it. It is Chemische Fabrik Uetikon no. 10 originally SBB 8476 SLM 1807 of 1907. ( 1801 was a 0-4-0T.

The ex LMS Princess Coronation Class Pacific 4-6-2 No. 6233 "Duchess of Sutherland" is to make a one off visit to the Nene Valley Railway on the 13th of February 2022. Which this will be the locomotive’s first visit to the railway then.

This is not loco 9584 but the loco in the picture is 6770 from 1913.

The photo shows it still carries the name A. MALLET. The loco belongs to the railway museum.

The former NCB, Whitehaven Colliery Avonside built 0-4-0ST Works No. 1772 "Askham Hall" has been moved to John Fowler Engineering at Bouth in Cumbria for cosmetic restoration. After this the locomotive will relocate to its new home at the Beacon Museum in Whitehaven in Cumbria for static display.

The former Southern Railway S15 Class 4-6-0 No. 847 which was the very last S15 to be built has been withdrawn from service at the begining of December 2021 having only been in traffic for eight years. The locomotive now requires a heavy overhaul with work to its boiler and the need for new tyres.

After 23 years out in Australia and 21 of overhaul and rebuilding the famous ex GWR Castle Class 4-6-0 No. 4079 "Pendennis Castle" is now operational again for the first time since her last steaming in Australia in October 1994. No. 4079 is now undergoing test runs and running trials at her home at Didcot Railway Centre in readiness for her relaunch into traffic at a special weekend for the locomotive on the 2nd and 3rd of April 2022. After this No. 4079 will operated at Didcot and travel around the UK visiting other preserved railways for Gala events and spot hire.

The frames of ex GWR 2884 Class 2-8-0 No. 2873 have also been sold to the Dartmouth Steam Railway at Paignton in Devon and will also be relocated there for storage.

The ex GWR 2884 Class 2-8-0 No. 3803 has been sold by the South Devon Railway to the Dartmouth Steam Railway at Paignton in Devon. Where the locomotive will now relocated to and have a overhaul back into steam again in the not too distant future.

The locomotive is actually numbered, whilst working on loan for CŽ, U57.001, whilst 1932 is both the JŽ operating and Škoda build number.

Is her 5 chime whistle and bell still with her and will they plan to "wake the beast" and let the 120 ton monster run again or just a cosmetic patch job for now until that time?

This locomotive was delivered to KPEV Hannover Division as No. 7512, which became, inu 1925, DRG No. 74 231 and later, from 1945 until 1964 with DR. It worked as No. 2 with VEB Industrialbahn Erfurt from 1965 until 1973, then was stored as ‘Cassel 7778’ at DR Bw Arnstadt and went to the MEM, Minden in1999, being named as “Hannover 7512”.
