The frames of ex GWR 2884 Class 2-8-0 No. 2873 have also been sold to the Dartmouth Steam Railway at Paignton in Devon and will also be relocated there for storage.

Further to the note posted by Steve Frost in 2008, I understand the boiler from no. 2873 is now in use on restored sister loco no. 3803 which is currently operational at Buckfastleigh

Little more than the frames remain at the South Devon Railway - it has been cannibalised for parts and the boiler belongs to Tyseley Locomotive Works, Birmingham, where it is located. Extremely unlikely to run ever again, or, for that matter, to be a complete loco again.
