Following its visit to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for their their Annual Steam Gala, BR Standard 4MT 2-6-4T No. 80078, will head south and make a return visit to the Spa Valley Railway for the Autumn and Winter months ahead, where it will take part in their Beer Festival from the 16th to 19th of October 2025 and will also be one of the locomotives rostered for the Polar Express this Christmas season too.

With the restoration of former Great Eastern Railway, 1876 built 0-4-0ST No. 229, now completed, work at the Flour Mill will now turn on the restoration with ex War Department and NCB, Woolley, Hunslet built Austerity 0-6-0ST (WD No. 75133) No. 8 "King Feisal of Iraq", as work has commenced on overhauling the frames of the locomotive.

The former Port Elizabeth Harbour Board, Hunslet built 2-6-0ST Works No. 790, "Hunslet", could be returning to steam again as the locomotive along with four others have been passed into the care of the New Cape Central Railway and is being moved to Robertson Station in Robertson, South Africa for restoration.
