John Gould is correct. this locomotive is now on display at Walter Green Park in Lead, SD, and it has been repainted yellow.

the gold mill is permanently closed, the locomotive is sitting with a bunch of mining equipment on the side of Deerfield road.

Just recently, the Age of Steam Roundhouse in Sugar Creek, Ohio made an announcement that they acquired this engine for the collection, and it is their 25th steam engine that they have ever acquired. Not only that, it is also the first articulated steam engine to be acquired by the organization.

Stepthson’s original famous "Rocket" of 1829, has now left Locomotion Museum at Shildon and has relocated to its permanent home at the National Railway Museum in York where it is now on display in the Great Hall there.

Having completed its Railway 200 journey along the route of the Stockton and Darlington Railway and its part in the Railway 200 celebrations of 2025 to mark 200 years of the opening of the Stockton and Darlington Railway, the 1975 built working replica of "Locomotion No. 1", has now returned to Hopetown, Darlington where it will be located and based in the Whessoe Road Engine Shed.

Having worked its final trains at the East Lancashire Railway, the ex LMS Black Five 4-6-0 No. 45212, has now been withdrawn from service and is now being relocated to Riley & Son Engineering Ltd at Bury in Lancashire, where it will undergo its overhaul there.
