This locomotive attended the 1970 NRHS convention in the "Parade of Steam" last time it was fired i believe because during the event, it suffered some extreme boiler damage due to the fact that it had never been restored in its 50 year life (at the time).

34053 Sir Keith Park is now withdrawn from traffic for her 10 year overhaul, after hauling her final trains this past weekend. After this overhaul, which includes a boiler swap with sister engine 34010 Sidmouth, 34053 should return to Spa Valley service next year.

The Orenstein and Koppel built 0-4-0WT Works No. 5662 has relocated to a new home at the Moseley Railway Trust at Apedale in Staffordshire for use on their Apedale Valley Light Railway there. The locomotive was built in 1912 as a 2ft 6inch gauge locomotive and was ordered by Duhnkrack and Sons for use in the sugar industry of Argentina.

The Talyllyn Railway’s Fletcher Jennings & Co. 0-4-0WT No. 2 "Dolgoch" is set to be repainted into the Talyllyn Railway’s famous dark green livery for the first time since 1987 when she returns to steam again in July 2022 for their Anything Goes Gala on the 2nd and 3rd of that month.

The ex Nidd Valley Light Railway Hudswell Clarke built 0-6-0ST No. 1208 "Mitchell"/ "Illingworth" has been renamed "Nightingale" and "Seacole" which it now carries on both sides of its saddle tank in onner of the famous nures Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole.

The former United States Army Transportaion Corps and Southern Railway USA S100 Class 0-6-0T No. 30070 (Longmoor Military Railway No. WD300 "Major-General Frank S Ross.") has had to be withdrawn from service early for a exensive overhaul to its boiler as it is in need of a new inner firebox and other work to the boiler barrel and tube plate.

With its overhaul now completed, the ex ex London, Brighton & South Coast Railway Terrier 0-6-0T No. 70 "Poplar" (No. 32670 "Bodiam") has left the North Norfolk Railway and has returned home to the Kent & East Sussex Railway for final painting into its Stoudley’s Improved Engine Green livery and testing before entering service.

Then it was a 1973 Build unit. This Unit was one of the 4 that operated at Great adventure in NJ Arrived for the 1974 season and then closed after the 1981 season.

The ex GWR Hall Class 4-6-0 No. 4930 "Hagley Hall" was steamed for the first time since 1986 and moved under power in the yard at Bridgnorth for the first since then too. This now marks the end of the overhaul on No. 4930 "Hagley Hall" as the locomotive will now undergo testing and running trials before entering service at the Severn Valley Railway soon.

Like No. 3985, Union Pacific Railroad 2-10-2 No. 5511 will soon be relocated to its new home at the Railroading Heritage of Midwest America in Silvis, Illinois, for a complete overhaul and rebuild to steam again as the Railroading Heritage of Midwest America have now started fundraising efforts to restore both 5511 and 3985 to steam and run on the mainlines of the United States of America again.

Following its donation to the Railroading Heritage of Midwest America in Silvis, Illinois the famous Union Pacific Railroad 4-6-6-4 Challenger No. 3985 will soon be relocating to its new home for a complete overhaul as its new owners the Railroading Heritage of Midwest America have started fundraising efforts to restore the locomotive to operate on the mainlines of the United States of America again.

The locomotive was at this location in 2005, having previously been later re-numbered by DB after WW2, who took it over from the DRB in 1949, as No 052 613, and which was in store with it’s ‘new’ owner in 2005 but is another that has ‘disappeared’ ?
