KWK (Coal Mine) Stalin 0-8-0T No. TKp-2241Posted by: Doug Bailey on May 17, 2022 @ 21:05:17
Unfortunately, Google Street View did not go far enough down ul. Olowiana to reach the gate of the Trans-Mot facility. If you click on the globe to access the map for this locomotive, and look just north of the marker on the map, you will see a little black rectangle. That is the locomotive. If you zoom in on the map as far as possible, you will see the shadow of this locomotive which shows the stack, steam dome and sand dome. Pretty neat.

Chesapeake & Ohio RR 2-8-4 No. 2707Posted by: Matthew Gardner on May 15, 2022 @ 17:05:33
Was just at this museum yesterday. This engine is probably in the worst shape of all steamers at this museum. Everything else is reasonable, but this one is pretty bad. Cab is rotted, and rust is everywhere. The asbestos is gone though, which is very good.
