The boiler and remains of former GWR 5205 Class 2-8-0T No. 5227 have now arrived at Tyseley Locomotive Works at Tyseley in Worcestershire where they will be used in the construction of new build GWR 3800 ‘County’ class 4-4-0 No. 3840 "County of Montgomery". The status of No. 5227 now is dismantaled.

Originally supplied through A Kopel, Berlin to the Puente Alto - El Volcán Military Railway that worked through to 1957. In 1970 it was displayed at the Chilean Army Engineers Base at Puente Alto and stored by 2000. In 2002 it went for in Avenue Fenix, El Melocotón, Santiago, Chile and where it was in 2009.

This was previously Gaswerk Keilehaven 25, later 30 and had a replacement boiler from Du Croo & Brauns No. 1147/1959. In 1967 it went to Tramweg Stichting and, in 1972 to the SH-M as No. 30.

Became DR No. 99 3353 in December 1949 working until 1969. It went to the Llanberis Lake Railway in 1972 and from here, via a intermediary, to the Brecon Mountain Railway as described.

Another locomotive supplied through A Koppel, Berlin, on this occasion to the MFU as their No. ANTRACITA 4, after which it was preserved privatly in Barcelona. Since 2000 it has been in Utrillas,Teruel, Aragon, stored in 2012

This became DR No. 99 3351 post WW2 in 1949, working until 1969. During 1970 it was withban intermediary in Lauenburg/Elbe and only in 1973 did it go to Mohun (outdoor) Steam Museum, San Francisco, USA moving in 1985 eastwards to a similar museum in La Porte, Chicago, Michigan and, in 1995, to the Edaville Railroad, South Carver, MA. It returned to the now united Germany in 1998 and is belived to be stored but possibly displayed at the location given.

This was originally Hedjas Railway No. 47, then No. 66. It was rebuilt during the 1930s.

2102 has been steaming up some trips recently. Trains Mag announced that 425 and 2102 will double-head august 13th. 425 has actually not gone down yet. It operated in 2022 on July 8th and 9th.

Another locomotive delivered through intermediary A Koppel, Berlin, on this occasion for M Gerard Smeets, Maescyck, Belgium which was stored by 1908. Post WW2 it went through another handler in Vilvoorde, Belgium and in 1975 to the Dowty Railway Society, Ashchurch, UK progressing, in 1983 to its current location in Toddington.

Delivered through F. Marti, Winterthur (handler) to Heine & Co., Stickerei, Arbon, Thurgau, Swizerland and, in 1913, going to Adolf Sauer, also in Arbon. Only in 1948 did it move to the Rhone-Poulenc Viscosuisse at Emmenbrücke from where, in 1970, it went to Alpnach-Dorf, during 1976 being stored in Berikon after whicht time it went for display at Restaurant Stalden in Berikon, Bremgarten, Aargau, Switzerland.

The locomotive was dispatched by intermediary A Koppel, Berlin to the then West Africa for Bomb Jesus Sugar Mill, Angola which later went to the Sandstone Heritage Trust, Bloemfontain, South Africa. It has no known recorded identity.

I have no further information of this beyond 1995, othervthan to say the locomotive bore plates also bearling No. 4 and TJEPPER.

This locomotive, despite bearing a chimney, was built fireless! The 2013 location was Cardinal Gelände, Rhinefelden, Aargau, Switzerland.

I have this as being constructed for 890mm gauge, rather than either 875mm or 900mm; smalll difference I know but vital to the operator! Originally supplied by A Koppel, Berlin for the then Klosterkeinbahn of Neu Afon, Abchasien, which worked until the 1950s. It was later displayed here, now in Georgia and still here in 2006. No recorded identity.

This, was formerly KPEV No. 1883, later 7312, prior to becoming, in 1925, DRG No. 91 737. In late 1945 it was sequestrated by the Soviets as their No. TT-397, an identity it retains; later placed in a scrapyard in the then Leningrad (now St Petersburg) and in 1991 joined other exhibits in the renovated railway depot, now museum, next to Baltiysky Station, in Saint Petersburg.

This, I think, is another delivery from A Koppel, Rotterdam to Java which was recorded at Sugar Mill Wringinanom as their No. 9. It has been displayed at Sugar Mill Comal, noted in 2010.

There is some doubt as to the existence of this loco. Listings of surviving Japanese locomotives I have seen make no mention of C11-247.
