Following the death of Jim Wrinn, The North Carolina Transportation Museum is currently raising funds to evaluate the locomotive for restoration to operating condition. That being said, it might be awhile for any work actually takes place.

Interestingly O&K 10956 was here but is now elsewhere in the UK; so this is indeed 10957 that remains un-sold, for the same price.

Built in 500mm gauge, originally for Angola. Regauged to 600mm and still at Sandstone in 2006.

Both the original Messina Development, and current Messina Library are in Messima, Limpodo Province, South Africa. The locomotives current name is Wendy.

This was originally supplied to the Japanese Military Railway as their No. E103. Only after WW2 in 1945 did the locomotive, via the Seibo Railway, go to Ahina Ironworks as their No. 3 until 1951. Two decades later it went to the UNESCO in Tokorozawa Nr, Tokyo and just two years later, in 1993 to Gmeide Marruseppu in Hokaido, Japan. At the end of 2002 it was sold to the FFM.

Originally built to a gauge of 600mm that was converted to 760mm gauge at Mokra Gora, Užice, Serbia and where it was in 2007.

Previously Trusebahn (Vogtei-Herges-Wernshausen) as No. Trusetal 5, that only became DR 99 4532 in 1949. It was at Putbus during 1962 and at Zittau for three decades from 1963, and in 1993 went to the OstBB In 1999 it returned to Zittau and is now preserved at Bertsdorf. Its EDP is officially No. 99 4532-9 (despite images of 99 4532-0, that belongs to No. 99 4531) and reference O99 760 belongs to BMAG locomotive!

The locomotive first came to the UK in 1972 for preservation at Pleasurerail Ltd., Knebworth, Herts. and in 1975 moved again, on this occasion to the WHR in Porthmadoc, Wales.

The locomotive was first delivered from Germany in gauge 700mm to the O&K store in Soerabaya the the sugar mill at Sragi, Peganlongan, Java. As Max 14 at Statfold Barn, UK the gauge has been reduced to 600mm by 2003.
