The new-re-build GWR Saint Class 4-6-0 No. 2999 "Lady of Legend" is visiting the Mid Hants Railway for the first time over the Christmas season, where the newbuild locomotive will be hauling their popular Steam Illuminations trains until the New Year and may stay longer?

Please change location and status. Locomotive has moved to Shibaura Institute of Technology Junior and Senior High School, Toyosu, Koto-ku, Tokyo in November 2022. It has been cosmetically restored, renumbered to its JGR number of 403, and is now on display.

The ex Eastmoors Steelworks Hunslet built 48150 Class 0-6-0ST No. 18 "Jessie" is visiting the Kent & East Sussex Railway over the Christmas season to be extra motive power for their Santa Specials. After this in the New Year "Jessie" will then go to the Flour Mill works at Bream in Gloucestershire for her 10 year overhaul which will hopefully be completed by the spring of 2023.

I took photos of Px48-1734 when it was displayed on the roadside near a playground but cannot remember the exact location. It was in April 1994 and I was driving across country from Zamosc to Rzeszow.

This was originally supplied to Rio de Janerio Harbour Railway as their No. 9 and was/is Henschel No. 11369 (NOT 7) even if the plate from the former has been attached incorrectly ? It later went to Imbituba Harbour in the same identity then later to Tubarao.

ILFORD has provided the latest information of the move from Vichka to Saint Petersburg. We had the status of the loco as Lost. The last previous report of the loco was in 2001.

The ex Great Western Railway 5600 Class 0-6-2T No. 5643 is on her last few weeks of her 10 year boiler ticket and is due to work her last trains before her withdrawl from service at the East Lancashire Railway on the 26th and 27th of December 2022. After this the locomotive will return home to the Furness Railway Trust’s base at the Ribble Steam Railway at Preston in Lancashire for her 10 year overhaul.

This is an incorrect build number and even, when/or if possible to correct, it is unlikely that the said locomotive is extant ?

It may carry the works plate (or duplicate) from No. 11635 but I have this recorded as H&S No. 11132 ?, No. 11535 not now being extant ? The former was actually delivered to the PAP (Piræus-Athenia-Peloponess Railway) No. 151, only becoming OSE No. BG 7151 with nationalisation during 1920. It was first preserved in Athens but is now domociled in Piræus, Attica, Greece.

Originally supplied to Japy Frères &Co. Beaucourt-Lafeschotte, France. It later mov to another clock maker, in Audincourt, working until 1972 and then stored until 1977 when purchased by R Bras of Espalion and, in 2008 went to CFT de la Sarthe and in 2010 on to Saujon-La Tremblade, Charente-Maritime France. The locomotive has no recorded identity.

This has been at Piacenza, Emilia Romagna, Italy since original delivery to the Italian Railway & Tramway network naned:- GRAGNANO.
