The ex Furness Railway 0-4-0 No. 20, (one of the worlds oldest working steam locomotives) will be visiting the Mid-Hants Railway (Watercress Line) for the first time for their upcoming Spring Steam Gala from the 24th to 26th of April 2026.

I believe this locomotive is actually #4, not 6. There is another locomotive which was operational in NJ (now at a museum in AZ, construction #7197) which was also said to be #6. I found a roster on trainweb which lists 7197 as #6 and 7110 (this locomotive) as #4.

The restoration of the ex NCB Mountain Ash, Andrew Barclay built 0-6-0ST Works No. 2074 "Llantarnam Abbey", has now been completed and the locomotive is operational and has steamed for the very first time in prservation after 46 years since it last ran at Mountain Ash in October 1979. "Llantarnam Abbey" will undergo testing and running in trials at the West Somerset Railway before relocating back home to the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway (Blaenavon’s Heritage Railway) at Blaenavon, Monmouthshire in South Wales.

The overhaul on the ex Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd, Hudswell Clark built 0-6-0ST (Works No. 1026) No. 31, has now been completed and the locomotive is now operational again and will undergo testing and running-in trials at Didcot Railway Centre before it returns home to Fawley Hill at Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire, (the home of the late Sir William McAlpine).

Plans are being made for ex GWR Manor Class 4-6-0 No. 7821 "Ditcheat Manor", to be relocated to the West Somerset Railway for an overhaul back to operational again, having last steamed in 2007.

"Panad" is a new build project being built by carriage works foreman and colleagues at the Ffestiniog Railway. It replicates the form of a De Winton 0-4-0 vertical boilered tank loco. De Winton was a Caernarfon based engineering firm who built several of this type of locomotive for work in the North Wales slate quarries. The De Winton company closed as long ago as 1901.

900 mm gauge Locomotive Henschel 22271 was removed from Konrad-Celtis-Schule (München-Sendling) by crane and was carried to Kiefersfelden at the End of 2025 on the road.

Locomotive currently has a diesel motor in the tender, though I am unsure if this was a mod made by Opryland, or Six Flags America.
