This locomotive is Tharsis, Sulfur & Copp. Co. (TOS) 0-4-0T Number 7 ‘Corrales’, now preserved in the museum on Calle Sagasta, Tharsis.

This locomotive has been sold and removed, by a private buyer for restoration in Ciudad Real, from the Guadalcacin site (actually in the village of El Portal outside Jerez).

Status should be changed to operational, as this locomotive was returned to working order. Has modern equipment on the tender (one of the earlier modernisations, before they started using the D&RGW style tender top air tank). Lettered for the G&Q in white lining.

This locomotive has been returned to working order at Ibarra. Not painted black with champagne lining, and G&Q lettering.

The 17 is back in working order. She was returned to service around the turn of 2017/2018. Now has the air tank on the tender and other modern equipment, with S&C lettering.

C12164 has not turned a wheel under her own power in 10 years. Status should be changed to "Display". Plans were announced September 2016 to restore the C12 to operation, but nothing has been announced since. The locomotive remains on display on the Shin-Kanaya Depot turntable.

Judging from the works no., this must originally have been Hammond Lumber Company no. 6, one of two 2-6-6-2Ts purchased from Baldwin in 1929. The other was no. 5 (Baldwin 60871), sold in 1937 to Crown Willamette as their no.16 and scrapped in 1959.

Some really good news on former New South Wales Government Railways Garrett 4-8-4+4-8-4 No. 6029. The locomotive has been sold to a privet owner has undergone some steam tests at Thirlmere in New South Wales where its currently based. No date has been set for its return to the Australian mainlines but it could possibly be taking part in this years Hunter Valley Steamfest out there?

In some surprising news former NCB Lambton System Hunslet built Austerity 0-6-0ST No. 60 is nearing the final stages of its overhaul and is due to return to traffic for the first time in 20 years. But not at the Strathspey Railway as the locomotive is moving to the Aln Valley Railway to be there 2nd resident steam locomotive. It will make its debut there at there Branch End 50 steam gala to mark the 50 years since the closure of the Alnmouth to Alnwick Branch in 1968.

Tho currently on static display there seem to be plans to have ex Canadian Pacific Railway Hudson 4-6-4 No. 2860 "Royal Hudson" Canada s most famous Steam Locomotive to be put back in to steam again? As on the West Coast Railway Heritage Park website there is what looks like a online appeal since 2015 to raise funds to have the locomotive overhauled to work on the Canadian mainlines again? Whether this will happen or not is currently unknown?

Fuel for this locomotive is not Propane. Fuel presently being used is coal. Boiler relief valve pressure is 150 to 160 psi.

Some information has come to light on Canadian Pacific RR Hudson 4-6-4 No. 2816. It has been discovered from a photo found on Flickr that the locomotive has been put on display at Canadian Pacific Railways headquarters at Calgary. Where it currently on display in what looks like a small museum there?

The Royal Palm Railway Experience have offered a home for Louisiana & Arkansas RR No. 503 where it will be restored to full working order if the funds to save are raised. Details for the Go Fund Me appeal is on there facebook page.

R707 is operational after sitting idle for many years. She was originally restored from 1981 to 1985. The 707 operations website gives excellent history of the loco.

Operated with Victorian Railway from July 1951 until withdrawn in June 1964. Along with others of her class wasstored at Newport. Being preserved by Steamrail Victoria.

In 2000 moved to Ballarat East Depot, where it was dismantled for restoration with a future of operating from Ballarat. Due to the collapse of a private railway company this project ended. Some work was still carried out at Ballarat. Its wheel were exchanged with R766. 2012 was reassembled for transport back to Newport. It is now stored in the none public area of the works. It now also has R766 tender.

Operated with Victorian Railways from September 1954 until withdrawn in May 1973 having worked just over 100,000 miles. Bought privately and stored in various locations. In 2003 moved to Menzies Creek Museum where it was overhauled. 2007 moved to Victorian Goldfield Railway and began operating trains.

At present undergoing a lengthy overhaul at Newport Workshops.
