I have its CSD number officially recorded as 555.111 rather than 555.115 (that being CDZ No. 14.45)

The locomotive is believed to originally havebeen supplied to a local sugar factory without a running number.

Correcion This locomotive was actually constructed by Hanomag, Hannover as No. 5210 of 1908. It became Bulgarian State Railways No. 346 NOT KPEV and was renumbered in 1936 to 26.18

Construction details were Fr. Krupp, Essen 2351 of 1941; delivered to rhe DRG as No. 50.275 and later sold to CSD becoming their No. 555.113.

Correction Ther primary image depicts this 760mm gauge locomotive plinthed in the grounds of the now closed Cherven Brag depot, in March 2003.

Former Stewarts & Lloyds Andrew Barclay built 0-6-0ST No. 2139 "Salmon" will be leaving the Royal Deeside Railway soon as the locomotive will be sent to a engineering firm for overhaul and will return to the railway when completed.

Yesterday No. 60009’s mainline ticket finally ran out bringing to a end of 47 wonderful years of Number 9 on the mainline as the A4 has been owned by John Cameron longer then both the LNER and British Railways together. It was a sad day when No. 60009 "Union of South Africa" hauled her final railtour on part of her former stomping ground on the East Coast Mainline and pulled into York station for the last time on March the 7th 2020. Although the mainline ticket has ended Number 9 will be moved soon to the East Lancashire Railway to use up the remainder of her boiler ticket during 2021 to the early part of 2022 which after that she will be retired for static display.

CO&E 17 is NOT the last ever steam locomotive use in the U.S.A for revenue service, that title goes to North American Rayon Company 1 a 0-6-0f and a 0-4-0f in Michigan, both retired in the 1990s.
