Currently cosmetically restored and on display n.e. side of town. Seems like nothing is continuing with the restoration of the T&BF project. Everything looks like its been static for years.

Loco now at narrow gauge depot in GULBENE, Latvia. Gauge is 750mm not 30 inch.

The former Chon Buri Sugar Company Henschel & Sohn (Kassel) built 0-6-0T No. 105 "Siam" has now since left the Bredgar & Wormshill Light Railway and the UK all together as it has been sold for a new life in Latvia at a unknown private railway out there.

This engine was driven by my uncle Hadyn Shepherd for most of his working life at the marine colliery.I was given rides on this engine from a toddler and ended up going on the engine many times when i ended up working at the pit.I used to go and see my uncle and have a talk.I keep looking to see if this engine is back in use.This engine deserves to be kept.

No. 4079 has been moved into the lifting shop at Didcot for her boiler to be lifted out of her frames for the final stage of her overhaul since her repatriation from Australia. As there is pipe work that needs replacing before the locomotive can enter service on the heritage railway circuit.

The ex NCB Hetton Colliery and Fishburn Coke Works Andrew Barclay built 0-4-0ST No. 22 is expected to steam again later this year as its overhaul is in its final stages. It is expected that the locomotive will be outshopped with the number 54 is carried when she was at NCB Hetton Colliery in county Durham.

The former Maerdy Colliery Peckett built OQ Class 0-6-0ST No. 2150 "Mardy Monster" which is the most powerful industrial steam locomotive has been put up for sale by its owner.

Some more info on this locomotive: Built by NEVSKY, not Neva. Weight on drivers=15.7-15.8 tf. Driver Diameter=1830 mm. Boiler pressure=13 kgf / cm². Cylinders: 600 mm by 660 mm.
