Rayne & Burn did not build locos and in any case closed down in 1848. Best guess is Hackworth about 1849. Data is vague. .

The restoration on former Lord Penrhyn’s Slate Quarries Andrew Barclay built 0-4-0WT Works No. 1991 "Cegin" is completed as the locomotive was steamed for the first time in 56 years and underwent a test run which it passed with flying colors. "Cegin" is now back in service and will her debut in traffic at the Statfold Barn Railway’s Enthusiast Weekend on the 12th and 13th of June 2021.

The ex Fairfield-Mabey Kerr Stuart & Co 0-4-0WT Works No. 3063 "Willy" has moved to the Barry Tourist Railway at Barry Island in Glamorgan, South Wales to be their second main steam locomotive there and will remain to until the end of her boiler ticket next year in 2022.

The overhaul on former National Coal Board Bagnall built and Gisel ejector fitted 0-6-0ST Works No. 3059 "Florence No. 2" has now been completed and the locomotive will enter service again at the Foxfield Railway this summer.

The ex Yorkshire Tar Distillers Andrew Barclay built 0-4-0ST Works No. 1823 "Harry" has been sold to Peter Best, owner of LMS Black Five No. 44806, S160 2-8-0 No. 2253 "OMAHA" and ex South African Railways 2ft gauge NG/G16 Class 2-6-2+2-6-2 Garratt No. 130. The locomotive has been moved to a private site until it is sent away for full restoration.

The ex Keighley Corporation Gas Dept. Hawthorn Leslie built 0-4-0ST No. 2 is visiting the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway for a three week stay over June 2021. Which this is the first time in 80 years that the locomotive will in Yorkshire again having spent most on its working life at Keighley Gas Works.

It last operated in October 1976, at the Orange Empire Railway Museum. OERM is now known as the Southern California Railway Museum.

The former Staveley Minerals Hudswell Clarke built 3ft gauge 0-4-0ST No. 573 "Handyman" has now left the National Railway Museum’s collection as its ownership has been transferred to the Statfold Barn Railway at Tamworth in Staffordshire which is now the locomotive’s new home. The locomotive will now be cosmetically restored and placed on display in their museum.

Alaska Railroad #557 is far along in her restoration to operation. The tender is done. Except for installing flues, tubes, and superheater elements, the boiler is done. The compressor and power reverse are done. Drivers and main journal bearings are done and are projected for installation in mid-2021. Suspension and brake rigging components have been rebuilt and springs have been overhauled or replaced and their reassembly is underway. New rod bearings are installed. Overhaul of valve gear is underway with new bushings throughout. A 26L brake valve and associated components have been acquired and are being installed to make the locomotive compatible with PTC operation. Boiler steam tests are projected for late 2021 and operation is projected for 2022.

This is the history of Tkp-5485 which she was built in 1959 by Fabryka Lokomotyw, Chrzanow for the PKP (Polish State Railways) as one of their powerful Tkp Class 0-8-0T Locomotives. The locomotive worked in the Silesian (Slask) coalfields in Bytom for all of its working life until its withdrawal from service in 1995. The locomotive was purchased privately and moved to the UK for preservation first going to the Llangollen Railway for restoration where afterwords it moved to the Nene Valley Railway where it is still based their today under new ownership and still going strong following its second overhaul a few years ago.

The ex War Department and National Coal Board Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn built Austerity 0-6-0ST No. 49 will be the second visiting locomotive to the North Tyneside Steam Railway for their 30th Anniversary Gala on the weekend of the 9th to the 11th of July 2021. This visit will be bit of a home coming for the locomotive as No. 49 worked for the NCB in the area as she was regularly running between Backworth Colliery to the staithes at Whitehill Point, passing through the site of what is now the Stephenson Steam Railway Museum at Middle Engine Lane and following the route of the North Tyneside line today.

Was at riverside part today and took some measurements base on them I think the engine is a codename:klasse , http://narrowmind.railfan.net/040T_Porter66.jpg By the way if everyone is instended the frame thickness is 2.5" inches . Hope this all helps

My records show this loco as being 0235 but carrying plates off 0207. I have not personally examined it.

The GWR Large Prairie 2-6-2T No. 5199 is being repainted back into Great Western Green livery with Great Western written on the side tanks for the first time in preservation. No. 5199 is due to be finished ready for service in July in time for the peak running season at the West Somerset Railway where it is on hire to until the 31st December 2021.

On a happier note ex Austin Motor Co. Ltd 1932 Kitson & Co built 0-6-0ST Works No. 5459 "Austin No 1" will still be remaining at the Llangollen Railway after the problems there that have now all been sorted out and will be visiting the Somerset & Dorset Railway Heritage Trust at Midsomer Norton for the summer season from July to September 2021.

The ex Sproxton Quarry Hunslet 1888 built 0-6-0ST "Hastings" was steamed for the first time in over 56 years. Which this marks the end of its restoration and the locomotive is set to make its first public debut at the Statfold Barn Railway during their Enthusiast Weekend on the 12th and 13th of June 2021 marking the 50th birthday of the 1971 built ex Indonesian Forestry Service 0-4-2ST No. 4 "Trangkil". After this the locomotive will be moved to the Kent & East Sussex Railway to part in their 60th anniversary celebrations over the August Bank Holiday Weekend.

The rebuilt Hunslet Austerity 0-6-0 tender conversion No. 2890 "Douglas" will be going on loan to the Spa Valley Railway for the 2021 and 2022 seasons starting from the end of May 2021.

After its visit to the Mid Hants Railway early this month ex GWR ‘Small Prairie’ 2-6-2T No. 5526 has now gone on hire to the Dartmouth Steam Railway as extra motive power over the summer season there.

This loco appears to be the one illustrated in the book "Inventario das locomotivas a vapor no Brasil" which has it as item 40. So it is Batalhão Ferroviario Mauá No. 1 RIO NEGRO. VIW 4252 1939. It is located in Araguari in Minas Gerais state.
