Town is Marcon,Veneto,Italy. Loco is R302.038 works number 119 of 1927. Location is Mecnafer Works in the street shown.

Whatever the construction number (Avonside 1114 or 1117 of 1875) and be it an 0-6-0T or 0-6-2T, it was delivered to the Nordmark Klarälvens Railway (NKIJ) and is now preserved in Hagfors Railway Museum - details in my previous posting today.

This locomotive was built for the Hvetlanda Sävsajo Railway (HvSJ) as their No. 4 ‘A. WILH.PETRI’, to later become Hvetlanda Railway (HVJ) No. 4 and, from 1946, SJ No. Class Kp 3048.

This locomotive was built by Kristenhamms for the Klintehamn Roma Railway (KIRJ) as their No. 1 ‘KLINTHAMN’. It was transferred to the SJ as No. K4p 3067 in 1948.

This locomotive is/was also named ‘GOTLAND’. The Gotland Ralway (GJ) was taken over by the SJ in 1948, giving it No. Class K2p 3063 and was withdrawn from service in 1955, originally preserved at the National railway museum in Gävle.

This locomotive was actually built for the Ulhalrice Railway (UJ) as their No 1 ‘STEN STURE’ but sold, 34 years later to the Falköping Uddagärdens Railway (FUJ) in 1907. In 1955 it was transferred as a museum piece to Yxhults Stennhugger AB where it was first preserved.

This locomotive was built for the Mariestad Kinnekulle Railway (MKIJ) as their No 2 and in 1909 it was sold to the Västergötland Göteborg Railway (VGJ) where it stayed until 1941 when it was then sold to the Byvalla Långshyttan Railway (BLJ). It is now No. 9 ‘TALLÅS’ on the JTJ.

This locomotive, delivered from the Atlas, Stockholm Workshops was one of three delivered to the Dala Ockelbo Norrsundets Railway (DONJ) as their No. 12, and later preserved by the Swedish Railway Museum at Gävle, now at Jädraås.

This locomotive was delivered to the Västergötland Göteborg Railway (VGJ) as their No. 29 and later became SJ Class Gp 3119 (I am unaware as to where the number 4013 derives from?). When first preserved the locomotive was exhibited in children’s playground in Skara.

The locomotive was purchased and delivered to the Stockholm-Rimbo Railway (SRJ) as their No. 28 and was originally stored awaiting preservation in Gävle.

This locomotive was built and delivered to the Hultsfred Västervik Railway (HVJ) as their No. 22, and continuing with the Norsholm Västervik Hultsfred Railway (NVHJ) which, in 1949, part of SJ who renumbered it as Class L18p No 3147.

This locomotive was purchased by the Byvalla Långshyttan Railway (BLJ) as their No. 6 and upon retirement came into possession of the StLyJ.

The locomotive was delivered to the Rudy Osterhamms Railway (ROJ) as their No. 3 but who later changed name to the Östra Smäland Railway (ÖSmJ). The latter was taken over by lthe SJ in 1940 and this locomotive became Class S9p No. 3026, retiring in 1959 and first preserved by the StLyJ again as No. 3 of the ROJ.

This locomotive was supplied to the Kalma Berga Railway (KBJ) of which it became their No. 5 ‘NANNA’. It later became No. 35 (un-named) of the Stockholm Rimbo Railway (SRJ) and in un-restored preservation it was first owned by the Stora Lundy Museum Railway (StLyJ).

Delivered to the VGJ in 1911, it only came into SJ ownership, who renumbered it 3105, in 1949. Still working in 2019.

This locomotive was supplied to the Västergotland Göteborg Railway (VGJ) as their No. 31, as now preserved; a company which was taken over in 1949 by SJ who re-numbered it 3110. However, there appears to be a ‘typo’ with the construction number as it actually is Henschel 25935 (NOT 25395).

As another correspondent remarked in 2013, the locomotive was built for the Säfsnäs Verkens Railway (SVJ) as their No. 7, later being owned by the Hällefors Fredericksberg Railway (HFJ). It is located in the Fredricksdals Friluftmuseum.

This locomotive was built by Kristenhamms MV (indicated as KH here but in full elsewhere on this site) and was delivered to the Säfsnäs Verkens Railway (SVR) as their No. 4 and named SEBASTIAN GRAVE though, in 2019 little evidence of that remained, having been withdrawn back in 1953!

Street View routinely obscures identities (EG car number plates). I expect the software treated this in the same way!

Contrary to the plate it bears, as personally witnessed, the locomotive is in fact Nydquist & Holm No. 249 of 1887 (please see ‘photo album) which was built for the Wicken Möckelns Railway (WMR). Later it went to the Nora Bergslags Railway (NBsJ) until finally owned by the Bredsjö Degersfor Railway (BDJ). It was taken out of service in 1956 and placed on open display at Nora Station.

After work on the KLJ the locomotive was sold to Munkedals AB to become their No. 6. For several years it then carried the name ‘A..MALLET’.

This locomotive was built for the Jönköping Gripenberg Railway ((JGJ) as No. 9. In 1935 it went to Munskjo AB, Aspa Bruk as their No. 4 and, in 1963, went for preservation, firstly at the Skärstad Museum prior to arrival in Mariefred.

This locomotive was built for Byggnadscentral Förrädet, the SJ Central Workshops. It did not appear to be at Gävle in the summer of 2019.

This locomotive was delivered to the Hamra Railway, Tumba south of Stockholm, as their No. 5 ‘HAMRA’. It worked on various industrial sites on a line that closed in 1947, whence it went to a lime quarry on the Isle of Gotland where it worked for another ten years. It was saved from scrapping by the Swedish Railway Club who swapped in for another of similar scrap value. Renovated from 1961, it resumed service with new owners at Mariefred in 1969.

830.022 became EA 16 then EAP 10 LATER EMP 10. I have it as displayed at Savona Marittima and is Breda 763 1906.looks like another Italian mystery.

This is a new item for me. I wonder why the locomotive number has been obscured. The location is a private site at no. 50. On a satellite view the locos do not appear but on street view they are clearly visible at the north end if the site. The site might be a museum being developed.

The town is Tempio Pausania. There are two locos here both 2-6-0T. One is FCS 4 builder Breda 2290 1940 whilst the other is FCS 11 CEMSA 952 of 1931 seen by me in May 1988.
