Originally delivered to the SNCB as No. 102. The late P. Ransome-Wallis believed this locomotive to have been built by Cockerill, one of five builders who constructed the 35 members of this class.

This locomotive was built by the Belgian State Railway (CFB) as Class 8 No. 4639, being re-built for the succeeding SNCB as a Class 7 in it’s current guise.

This locomotive was delivered as SNCB No 3251 and, in preservation, has previously also carried the number 1805.

Hello, just a general note, the train is called "Tren Turistico de la Sabana" and the company that operates it is "Turistren". Also, Steam locomotives used to carry 14 passenger coaches every weekend. Due smoke, the train is regularly haules by diesel power now (U10B), up to 20 coaches.

Hello! Sadly the locomotives were going to be sold but due to national Colombian laws, Steam Locomotives are Historical heritage, therefore cannot be transported outside the country.

Google Maps have a photo dated September 2020 which shows this loco and E 201 still present in Regua. Can this be confirmed, or has the move mentioned in the previous note taken place since?

The overhaul on the pioneering BR Standard 7MT Pacific No. 70000 "Britannia" is now complete as the locomotive was steamed and moved under her own power for the first time since the begining of her overhaul. With a few jobs to do and final painting No. 70000 will be moved to the Severn Valley Railway for testing and running in before being let out on the mainline and heritage railway circuit again soon.

Having worked her final trains at the Great Central Railway new build LNER (designed) A1 Pacific No. 60163 "Tornado" has now been withdrawn from service for her overhaul which will will see the locomotive have new tyres fitted along with a brand new spare boiler from Dampflokwerk Meiningen works in East Germany to be fitted and the A1 will be turned out in her iconic 1940s British Railways Apple Green livery again. The overhaul is expected to be completed by the summer of 2022.

This loco was built for Tranvia de Oriente as No. 1 and 914mm 3 feet gauge. It later became FC Centrales 5C.

Wheel arrangement 0-6-0WT. With Alusuisse it was simply named NAVIZENCE. It runs as 7853 as NS had two 7851, 7852 after WWII.It still carries the Alusuisse name.

Apparently the loco was displayed at an Army depot which closed in 2014 as a result of cuts to defence expenditure. Its present location needs to be confirmed. Indeed its existence needs to be confirmed. Any ideas?

The loco is being overhauled, in December 2021, the boiler was sent to the North Norfolk Railway in UK for overhaul and a new fire-box. When complete the old fire-box will be returned to Switzerland for display purposes.

Up-date. Loco was working at Rochers-de-Naye in August 2003, at the end of the year was sold to BRB in Brienz, re-built to 800mm gauge in 2004-2005, fitted with No.16 and was operational in September 2005 at Brienz.

Humboldt 736 of 1910 was Julicher Kreisbahn 1B and is a 0-4-2T privately preserved in Zuid Beveland Province. The second loco at the Holiday camp is 0-6-0T Fours a Coke de Zeebrugge MARC Couillet 1806 1928 also acquired from SDP in Belgium.

Built by SLM 5457 in 1992 to Metre Gauge, later sold to the BRB in Brienz, they re0gauged it to 800mm in 2014-15. It is operational as loco No.16.
