The locomotive was built for the Gelsenkirchener Bergwerks-AG, Colliery Zollern 11/1V outside Dortmund-Bövinghausen as “ZOLLERN 11”, later after WW2 becoming Colliery Hansa, Dortmund-Huckarde No. 7, later Ruhrkohle (Ruhr Coal) AG, as No. D-632 at the same site. In preservation it was first placed in a playground in Freiligrathstraße, Bochum-Stadtpark until 1999, thereafter from 2000 at the Industrial Museum (WIM) in Dortmund-Bövinghausen, where it was in 2013.

Originally built for the Tar processor at Duisburg-Meiderich, later Rütergerswerke No. 5. In 1963 it became Ancitfabrik, Alsdorf (AFA) No. 2; placed in reserve during 1980, finishing in 1992, From 1993 it joined the fore-runner of what is now the Bergbaumuseum Grube Anna, Alsdorf, where it was in 2011.

This was previously Henkel & Co., Düsseldorf “FRITZ”. In 1951 it was Vereinigte Verpackungs GmbH, Monheim-Blee No. 2 and, in 1982, was preserved by Eisenbahnfreunde Oberburg (EFO) as Dieringhausen No. 2., where it was in 2013.

Previously Rheinische Braunkohlen (Brown Coal), Gruhlwerk, Kierberg as No. “HERMANN 3”, later RBW No. 310. It then spent some times in a playground in Brühl bei Köln before, in 1987 possibly going to Museums Eisenbahnen, Paderborn as a intermediary before reaching the B Falz museum at Hermeskeil and, besides bearing the number “RBW 310”, it also bears the name “CREFELD”, and was here in 2013.

Previously this originally was Badische Anilin-und Sodafabrik (BASF), Ludwigshafen No. 19 and was later employed by Dynamit Nobel AG, Werk Witten as their No. 2 with changes of company names until 1994. It then went to Otto Bunnick Jnr., a scrap metal dealer, of Duisburg-Obermeiderich and was still here in 2003.

This was International Harvester GmbH No, 1, plinthed since 1973 in a playground of Herbert-Karrenberg Schule, in a street of that name, at 41262 Neuß-Weyhe and was still here in 2013.

It was announced today 04/28/22 that UP 5511 2-10-2 was donated to Railroading Heritage of Midwest America in Silvis, Illinois. Along with UP 3985 and many other UP pieces of historical equipment in Cheyenne, Wyoming. UP 5511 is planned for a full restoration to operation after UP 3985.

It was announced today 04/28/22 that UP 3985 Challenger was donated to Railroading Heritage of Midwest America in Silvis, Illinois. Along with UP 5511 and many other UP pieces of historical equipment in Cheyenne, Wyoming. UP 3985 is planned for a full restoration to operation.

Originally Henkel & Co., Düsseldorf-Reinholz “PERSIL” which, in 1951, became Papier & Pappe, Viersen-Süchteln. Later Society Verpackunsgellchaft, Monheim-Blee and, in 1982, was displayed in a playground in Wisenstraße, Leverkusen-Hitdorf but is now located in a new building area in Antoniushof, Leverkusen.

This was originally Badische Anilin & Soda Fabrik (BASF), Ludwigshafen No. 13. From 1932 it was Raschig GmbH, Ludwigshafen, in reserve from 1975. In 1978 it went the the BDK (now Barnwelt Darmstadt-Kranicstein) as “OLGA”.

The locomotive was previously/originally Kreis Altenaer Eisenbahn “HERMANN 15”, which, since 1968 has been with the DEV Deutscher Eisenbahn-Verein (Society is tautology); the English being German Railway Society. In Bruchhausen-Vilsen.

Previously Gewerkschaft C Friedrich, Lützkendorf whic, in 1946, went to VEB Braunkohlenwerk Müchlen, Brikettfabrik Krumpa moving again, in 1963, to VEB Unseburg and in 1968 to VEB Röblingen, later various other sites. It came into the hands of the Eisenbahnclub Aschersleben as No. F 30-2-B3 in 1994, and the SEM, Chemnitz Hilbersdorf in 2000.

Previously based at a Sugar factory in Uerdingen, it later became Pfeifer & Langen, Elsdorf No. 1 and, in 1978, No. 13 at the Field & Railway Museum, Oekoven at Bw Rheydt. In 1981 it moved to the DDM.

Previously the locomotive was designated GG, Düsseldorf “ALICE HEYE” until 1972. It was at the MEM from 1977 in that identity.

This is actually German Ceramic (NOT Granite) Factory, Hervest-Dorsten, later Röchling, Dorsten that, in 1927, became Buderus AG, Wetzlar 11. In the years 1962-1989 it was with Avignon Anlagen, Wetzar in the same identity and in 1989 was purchased by the local authority. In 1994 it was displayed outside the Bf (station) in Wetzlar entitled “EDELSTAHL BUDERUS 2” and, in 2002, was re-placed in Am Taubenstein, Wetzlar. It was again removed in 2004 for Martin Rose Eisenbahnbau GmbH, Lauterbach, Hessen where it was in 2007.

CFH stands for the pre WW1 Ottoman Hedjaz Railway, Haifa (not completed) that was part on the Damascus-Mecca line that only reached Medina.

The locomotive was ordered by ‘TW’ for the Schlebusch-Manfort Section of the local railway as No. 3 in Leverkusen which, 1963-1993 was placed in a playground at Leverkusen-Schlebusch before restoration at the Westfälisches Industriemuseum (WIM), since 2003 named “VICTOR”.

Previously Bergwerks-Gesellschaft Herman, Bork Krs. Lüdinhausen No. 1. In 1928 it became Eschweiler Bergwerksverin - hence the EBV - Grube Mariagrube, Mariadorf as their “MARIA 3”. In 1964/it moved to EBV, Grube Adolf, Merstein as No. 2 before going, in 1973 to EBV Zeche Anna, Alsdorf as “ANNA N.9” In 1985 it again moved to the Association de Musee et Tourisme Ferroviaries (AMTF), Fond de Gras, where is was in 2000.

Originally KJZ, Ameln No. 1 whic, in 1926, became Pfeifer & Lange, Ameln. In 1972 it was purchased privately by J H Heusser, Riedholz Attisholz, Switzerland, later going to the Zürcher Museumsbahn, Heinrich Billeter, Sihlwald where it was until 2003. In late 2004 it moved to Neiderlausitzer Museumseisenbahn, Finsterwalde as No. “6”, where it was in 2005.

The locomotive was originally built for the CF Estado (State Railways) for the Minho-Douro line as their No. 301, which later became CP No. 41. It is currently in the former dept/now museum outside the now closed Chaves Station.

Previously at Hütte Schauenstein, Obernkirchen “KAUS”, at a later date up to 1974 plinthed in a playground in Obernkirchen. It was then on display in the Deutches Feldund Kleinbahnmuseum, Deinste until 1995 when it went to the Damfbahn Rhine-Main, Frankfurt am Main as No. 12 where it was until at least 2003. In 2011 it was purchased privately by a Karl Heinz of Rohrwild, for the NFM 500 as No. 80 and where it was due to stay until 2021.

Previously Brothers Stumm, Neunkirchenen No. 32 (rather than No. 2) until 1974 when it was owned by EF Aschaffenburg. It was No. 2 at Offenbacher Localbahn (OLB) and, in 1994 through to at least 2004 with Untermaine and DGEG, Würzburg-Zell.
