There were two JS5444s, one was the real 5444,which scrapped earlier than the other one. The other was registered JS6xxx and changed its registration on an unknown date to replace the old 5444.

Having worked her final trains during the Severn Valley Railway’s Winter Steam Gala, ex Southern Railway, rebuilt Bulleid West Country Class Light Pacific No. 21C127 (34027) "Taw Valley", has been withdrawn from service for her 10 year overhaul, which is to get underway immediately in the workshops at Bridgnorth shed. It is planned to have it completed by the summer of 2024, which No. 34027 will have her full BR number again and painted in British Railways Brunswick Green livery again.

Having hauled its final trains during the Severn Valley Railway’s Winter Steam Gala, the sole surviving BR built LMS designed Ivatt 4MT "Flying Pig" 2-6-0 No. 43106, has no been withdrawn from service having come to the end of its boiler ticket and is to be placed into storage for the time being.
