Faithful replica of an LNWR George the Fifth Class locomotive. Currently under final assembly at Crewe Heritage Center (53.093712° -2.436129°). The Trust approached the Duke of Cambridge and Duchess of Cambridge about naming their locomotive after their newborn son, Prince George. The Duke and Duchess agreed, and the locomotive was given the number “2013,” the year of his birth. It will cost around £2 million to complete Prince George.

The Bure Valley Railway’s 15inch gauge 2-6-4T No. 1 "Wroxham Broad", is currently undergoing an overhaul in their workshops at Aylsham.

It is reportedly ex CFI 764.423, which belonged to the Ystwith Railway and was stored at Teifi Valley Railway for restoration (never part of the TVR inventory). The Ystwith Railway was dissolved and the locomotive went to Welshpool and Llanfair Railway as No. 19. After a serious defect in the drive in 2013, the locomotive was put into storage. The ex NCB Hetton Colliery and Fishburn Coke Works Andrew Barclay built 0-4-0ST No. 54 (No. 22), has gone on loan to the Appleby Frodingham Railway Preservation Society at Scunthorpe in Lincolnshire for the 2024 season there.

In 2008 the latest boiler certificate expired and the locomotive is now on static display until such time as a further overhaul can take place although there are no immediate plans to return it to steam.

It was reported that the locomotive is stored awaiting cosmetic restoration at the Doon Valley Railway at Dunaskin which is the base of the Ayshire Railway Preservation Group (ARPG).
