HEPC #46 is the last of the steam engines used in the Queenston-Chippawa Project (Adam Beck Generating Station)  The builders plate on this locomotive actually reads August 1920.

The "Alco-Cooke Construction Number List" indicates that Construction Numbers 62557 through 62561 were built for "Stock", to be sold at a later date. All five units were 0-4-0T's and had a "Specified" total weight of 99,000 pounds (This is not necessarily the "Actual" total weight). Their Cylinders were 16" x 24". Two units, Construction Numbers 62557 and 62558, Road Numbers 46 and 47, were shipped to the "Hydro-Electric Power Commission" during September of 1920. The remaining three units were sold to other customers.
