JNR 2-6-2T No. C12-164Posted by: Yuki Taki on Nov 3, 2025 @ 19:11:05
I suggest changing status to "Stored". Instead of being displayed on the Shin-Kanaya turntable during operational days, C12 164 has spent the last year or so on the end of the spur track that branches out from the Shin-Kanaya yard (known as the Oshiro spur). Since this track, while viewable from the street, is not "officially" publicly accessible, I believe "display" is not the correct word.

JNR 2-8-2 No. D51-200Posted by: Yuki Taki on Nov 3, 2025 @ 19:11:01
Please change status back to "Operational". The locomotive has been putting on a stellar performance all through October. Fingers crossed that she will continue to perform well to round off this challenging operation season. 2026 will see C57-1 return to traffic if all goes well, which will allow D51-200 to receive some well-deserved attention to her running gear.
