No. 333.002 (1665) entered service as Südbahn No. 1665 in 1895, During the following century it made its way on to the MÄV (presumably after 1945) and upon retirement in Hungary it was exchanged in 1969, with GKB No. 674 and is now owned by Republik Österreich, Leihvertrag (leased to) ÖBB-Holding AG and based at Strasshof in its original identity, though not visiible there in summer 2019.

The locomotive joined the kkStB as No. 310.23 (1911 - 1918) whereupon it continued in this identity with the DÖStB (1918 - 1919); the ÖStB (1919 - 1921) and the BBÖ (1921 - 1938). The DRB (1938 - 1945) took it into their stock as No. 16.008, but the ÖStB (1945 - 1953) shortened it to 16.08, which was kept by the ÖBB (1953 - 1956) prior to preservation. Reported operational in 2013. Owned by Republik Österreich, Leihvertrag (leased to) ÖBB-Holding AG and based at Strasshof.

No. 38.4101 (109.13) Entered service with the Südbahn as No. 109.13 (1912 - 1924) but was renumbered No. 209.13 by the BBÖ (1924 - 1938) before the DRB (1938 - 1945) took it into stock as No. 38.4101 succeeded by the ÖStB (1945 - 1953) and the ÖBB (1953 - 1968). Owned by Republik Österreich, Leihvertrag (leased to) ÖBB-Holding AG and based at Strasshof.

This locomotive was originally Südbahn (1891 - 1924) then GKB (1924 - 1968) prior to preservation. It appears to have been was last operational in 2011. Owned by Republik Österreich, Leihvertrag (leased to) ÖBB-Holding AG and based at Strasshof.

No. 15.13 (10.13) was delivered to the kkStB as No. 10.13 (1910 - 1918) and retained that identity with the DÖstb (1918 - 1919); ÖStB (1919 - 1921) and BBÖ (1921 - 1938). It became No. 15.13 with the DRB (1938 - 1945) and has survived in this guise with the ÖStB (1945 - 1953) and ÖBB (1953 - 1969) and into preservation. Owned by Republik Österreich, Leihvertrag (leased to) ÖBB-Holding AG and based at Strasshof, though not present here in summer 2019.

This locomotive appears to have dropped off the 'radar' as it is no longer recorded as being extant either at Strasshof, in the current WLF listing or indeed in Austria!

No. 197.301 (269.01) was delivered to the kkStB as No. 269.01 (1912 - 1918) retaining that number with the DÖStB (1918 - 1919); ÖStB (1919 - 1921) and BBÖ (1921 - 1938). It became No. 97.301 with the DRB (1938-1945) and ÖStB (1945 - 1953) before the ÖBB renumbered it 197.301 (1953 - 1979) before retirement and preservation. Owned by Republik Österreich, Leihvertrag (leased to) ÖBB-Holding AG; based at Strasshof .

No. 1851 (594.01) Owned by Republik Österreich, Leihvertrag (leased to) ÖBB-Holding AG; based at Strasshof but - since 2009 - plithed at Bärnbach, Austria. Originally delivered to LB Bozen – as Kaltern 1 (1898 - 1912) becoming, briefly Südbahn No. 1851 from 1912, succeeded as BBÖ No. 594.01 until 1926. It then became GKB No. 1851, serving with that railway until 1968.

No. 54.014 (60.115) ran for the first 3 years of its life as kkStB 16015 (1899 - 1904) before being renumbered to 60.115 (1904 - 1918) and with the BBÖ (1918 - 1938). The DRB gave it No. 54.014 (1938 - 1945). The ÖStB added the letter T to that number making it T54.014 1945 - 1955) but it was simplifield by the ÖBB to No. 54.14 from 1955 until withdrawal and preservation. Owned by Republik Österreich, Leihvertrag (leased to) ÖBB-Holding AG and based at Strasshof.

No. 53.7101 (106) is one of the oldest locomotives in Austria, being delivered to the KEB as their No. IV 106 (1868 - 1882) whence it became kkStB No. B II 106 named 'Fusch' (1882 - 1885). It was renumbered by that company to 4717 (1885 - 1905), later No. 47.17 (1905 - 1918) and continuing in this identity with the DÖStB (1918 - 1919); ÖStB (1919 - 1921) and BBÖ (1921 - 1938). It was incorporated into the DRB fleet as No. 53 7101 (1938 - 1945), later ÖStB (1945- 1953) and ÖBB (1953 - 1958) before withdrawal for preservation. It spent several years displayed outside Linz Hbf (see Primary image from 1995) before city reconstruction works forced its removal to Stasshof. Owned by Republik Österreich, Leihvertrag (leased to) ÖBB-Holding AG.

No.69.02 (12.02) was delivered to the kkStB as No.19752 in 1898 and ran with this number until 1905. becoming their No.97.152 (1905 - 1918), thence successively with that identity with the DÖStB (2918 - 1919); ÖStB (1919 - 1921) and BBÖ (1921 - 1935) when it was rebuilt by the latter company, becoming their No.12.02 until 1938. Incorporated into the DRB as No.69.02 (1938 - 1945) it kept that identity with the ÖStB (1945 - 1953) and ÖBB (1953 - 1973) before completing its long active service as ÖBB Vz. 01087, and later preservation. Owned by Republik Österreich, Leihvertrag (leased to) ÖBB-Holding AG and based at Strasshof.

No.58.744 (81.44) ran from delivery as BBÖ No.81.44 (1923 - 1938) before being absorbed into the DRB as No.58 744 (1938 - 1945), the number which it has continued to carry with ÖStB (1945 - 1953) and later ÖBB into preservation. Owned by Republik Österreich, Leihvertrag (leased to) ÖBB-Holding AG and based at Strasshof.

Ex Norfolk & Western Railroad J 4-8-4 No. 611 will be staying at the N.C. Transportation Museum at Spencer, North Carolina over the winter. The locomotive will be on display in their Bob Julian Roundhouse till the start of the 2020 season for it.

LMS Black Five 45212 is returning home to the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway for the winter after a good season in Scotland working the Jacobite trains with sister Black Five 45407 and LNER K1 No. 62005. No. 45212 will undergo its winter maintenance to be ready for another season working from Fort William to Mallaig in 2020.

After spending most of the year at Didcot ex Port Talbot Railway Hudswell Clarke built 0-6-0ST No. 813 has returned home to the Severn Valley Railway.

The GWR Large Prairie 2-6-2T No. 4144 has returned home to Didcot Railway Centre having spent most of the 2019 season at the Severn Valley Railway. No. 4144 will be made available for their steaming days.

Ex War Department Hunslet built Austerity 0-6-0ST No. 3193 "Norfolk Regiment" is to stay at its current location the Nene Valley Railway till the end of the 2020 season next year. No. 3193 is currently being put back together after some repair work at Wansford and will enter service hauling the Nene Valley’s Winter Light Spectacular trains over the Christmas Season.

No. 60103 "Flying Scotsman" the most famous steam locomotive in the world is heading to the East Lancashire Railway for the Winter as a base for some festive Railtours over the Settle and Carlisle Railway over Christmas and winter maintenance for the 2020 season.

The unique sole surviving single chimney BR Standard 9F 2-10-0 No. 92134 will visit the West Somerset Railway for the first time next year in April 2020 for their Spring Steam Gala on the 23rd to 26th April which the popular event returning after a years absence in 2019.

The ex Beckton Gas Works 1892 Neilson & Co. built 0-4-0WT No. 1 is located at Preston Steam Services at Canterbury in Kent where it is on display there while the locomotive is up for sale.

The boiler of No. 60007 "Sir Nigel Gresley" has been refitted to the frames of the locomotive at York today and will soon undergo a in frames steam test.

It has been announced that LMS Black Five No. 45305 "Alderman A E Draper" is expected to return to service at the Great Central Railway this month during their Last Hurrah of the season gala event on 16th and 17th November 2019. After repairs to the locomotive which has seen various pieces of work carried out which includes work on the boiler, a new brick arch and a new smokebox door fitted.

The former Mt. Lyell Mining & Railway Company 0-4-2RT No. 2 has been purchased by the West Coast Wilderness Railway for which it was built to work on and has relocated there for restoration to run again.
