Operations at Ijmuiden have been suspended due to environmental considerations. Tom has been running at the Maldegem-Eeklo railway in Belgium since 2023 and will remain there until at least September 2025

The locomotive, whilst of 1940 numbering origins, was not delivered until 1951 to Krupp-Triebstoffwerk, Wanne-Eickel at Bochum-Biemke and only later at the Hannover-Hannibal Mine, Bochum-Hoogovens, Netherlands as their No. 22, later with Corus Stoom Ijmuiden in the same guise but also named TOM in 2007.
