As of 2025, locomotive 487 is currently operational! It took place in the 100th anniversary of the K 36 class locomotive! Locomotives 484 and 488 were also present in the celebration. Please change status to operational.

Yes it does have a doghouse on its tender. I just saw today!

487 will be going into its third season in a row in 2005.  It carried the railroad by itself in 2003 and ran with 484 in 2004.  Good luck 487 in 2005.
