I own this poor old locomotive.  It was moved years ago from Intercontinental Engineering in Riverside, MO to Comet Industries (now WABCO) in Kansas City, MO and has been stored in partially dismantled condition.  I am going to move it this year to my shop in rural Wellsville, KS to join its other parts.  The Davenport catalogs show the weight at 43,000 lbs and the tractive effort at 9650 lbs.  The locomotive was last steamed by Great Western in 1976 at the reduced pressure of 150 lbs.  On the Great Western Sugar operations she had her cab extended 12" to the right and had a large coal box on the left side that at one time had a chute alongside the cab to a funnel on top of the cab.  This allowed the locomotive to be coaled at a coaling tower, but ended up with a locomotive about 11' wide at the cab.

The owner David Johnson is having this locomotive regauged to 3 feet for the Miami Kansas Tramway.  The Miami Kansas Tramway site is http://www.geocities.com/bodarcsmkt/home.html .  As the site says, it is being rebuilt for operation.
