The former New South Wales Government Railways 4-6-4T No. 3112, has now become part of the Picnic Train’s mainline steam fleet and will join No. 5917 and R766 on their mainline tours in the near future.

The former New South Wales Government Railways 4-6-4T No. 3112, has since relocated to the Goulburn Roundhouse Museum at Goulburn in New South Wales, Australia, where work is underway to return it to the mainlines of New South Wales, Australia, again.

NSWGR 3112 was originally S1240, becoming 3112 in 1924. Withdrawn in February 1972 and sold to Lachan Vintage Village in 1974. Sold into private hands in 1986 and restored to running condition. New owner in 2007, who moved it to a private compound opposite Canberra railway museum.
