Erik, find a copy of the Sept/Oct issue of Live Steam & Outdoor Railroading for the full story of the Lagoon railroads. There was a "Green Train" on the Wild Kingdom Train - it stopped running around 1988, and is now the train on display at Rattlesnake Rapids.

There was never a green train on the wild kingdom train, I thought, just a white one and an orange/black one, which are now the red-white-blue merriwether and Houston

No, "Old Ironsides" was the train that ran in Pioneer Village, which is now in service as "Meriweather" on the Wild Kingdom Train. This one was always known as the "Green Train," because it was painted green when it ran on the Wild Kingdom Train.
