the locomotive looks a lot different now. It now has two whistles and is no longer named, just numbered 40.

I attended the 2024 Ederville train and tractor show and spoke to the engineer of this engine. Boiler pressure should be 180psi and driver diameter is 18inches.

This locomotive is 24" gauge.

This Crown engine is now at Carthege NC and the collector has a open house usually the first weekend in November. I will post date of open house when I have details. Merton

Pokey Smokey is no longer in va anymore. the locomotive was sold to a collector and will be still operated when it gets to north carolina.

According to A Virgina newspaper article I found on the internet, As of this present time "Pokey Smoky" is not operating due to required boiler work.
