This was indeed first withbCarl Brandt, Bremen as his No. 9. In addidition to the previous note from Robin Beck, In 1971 this went to Hills Bailey, at Llanberis and later to the Conway Valley Museum at Bettws-y-Coed and not until 1977 to the Brecon Mountain Railway, being in store at Pontsticill in late summer1997. Just over a year later it went in parts to the Bredgar & Wormshill LR and emerged as their No. 8, where it is now.

Built for Carl Brandt, a contracting firm in Bremen, working on construction projects in Germany until 1957. First preserved by Alan Bloom for his gardens at Bressingham, UK. Sold in 1973 to the Brecon Mountain Railway. In 1999 acquired by Bredgar & Wormshill railway. Arriving dismantled and with no boiler. New boiler constructed and loco rebuilt. Back in service in 2011.
