The ex GWR 5700 Class 0-6-0PT No. 7714, is visiting the Bodmin Railway for their Spring Steam Gala from the 16th to 18th of May 2025, which will be a Great Western Branch Line themed event.

The ex GWR 5700 Class 0-6-0PT No. 7714, is visiting the Bluebell Railway as their third visiting locomotive for Great Western themed, Branch Line Gala Weekend from the 10th to 12th of May 2024.

The ex GWR 5700 Class 0-6-0PT No. 7714 is to visit the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway as their star visiting locomotive for their Annual Steam Gala from the 9th to 11th of September 2022. Which this will be the first time No. 7714 will be in South Wales again in a number of years.

Former GWR 5700 Class 0-6-0PT No. 7714 will be visiting the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway as thier second visiting locomotive for their Spring Steam Gala from the 11th to 13th of March 2022.

7714 will be one of two visiting locos at the Keighley and Worth Valley Railways Steam Gala on 11th-13th March, along with Royal Scot. The ironic thing is that both locos visited the 50th Anniversary on the KWVR back in 2018.

The theme for this years West Somerset Railway Autumn Steam Gala seems to be a Feast of Panniers as 7714 is the third guest, and fourth Pannier, visiting the event on 3rd-6th October, the others being 8750 4612, 6400 6412 and 5700 7752.

No. 7714 is visiting the Llangollen Railway for their Autumn Steam Gala on the weekend of 12th to 14th of October 2018. This will be a home coming for 7714 as in Steam days it worked over the Llangollen line having been sheded at Birkenhead from 1937 until 1958, before moving briefly to Wrexham Rhosddu shed prior to withdrawal.

No. 7714 has just been added to the line up of visiting locomotives that are taking part in the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway s 8 week 50th anniversary gala from June 24th to July 1st 2018.

No. 7714 along with 14XX Class 0-4-2T No. 1450 will be visiting the West Somerset Railway for there Spring Steam Gala from the 22nd to the 25th of March 2018.

7714 has been under overhaul which has now been completed and the loco will returning to traffic soon and it has been painted in BR Black livery.
