With its loan to the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway now finnished, BR Standard 4MT 2-6-4T No. 80080, has returned home to the Princess Royal Locomotive Trust’s West Shed at the Midland Railway - Butterley for some maintenance & testing before being made available for service at the railway for a short while during April 2025. But its has been announced that No. 80080 will be relocating on-term-loan to the North Norfolk Railway following a partnership between the Princess Royal Locomotive Trust and the North Norfolk Railway which will see No. 80080 based at the North Norofolk Railway for an initial period five years starting from late May 2025.

BR Standard 4MT 2-6-4T No. 80080 will be staying on at the Great Central Railway to take part in their Railways at Work Gala weekend on the 19th and 20th of March 2022. After that No. 80080 will go back on hire to the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway for the 2022 operating season there.

BR Standard 4MT 2-6-4T No. 80080 will be visiting the Great Central Railway as one of two visiting locomotives for their Winter Steam Gala from the 28th to 30th of January 2022.

BR Standard 4MT 2-6-4T No. 80080 has arrived at the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway at Wirksworth in Derbyshire where it will be staying on loan for two years.

Its been announced that BR Standard 4MT 2-6-4T No. 80080 will be going on loan to the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway at Wirksworth in Derbyshire for a two year stay. Following a agreement with WyvernRail plc and the Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust owners of No. 80080 for the locomotive to operate there and will arrive at the start of their operating season.

BR Standard 4MT 2-6-4T No. 80080 is located back at the Midland Railway Centre at Butterley in Derbyshire as its loan to the East Lancashire Railway has ended. But its owners the Princess Royal Locomotive Trust are in talks with other preserved railways about loaning 80080 to them from 2021.

BR Standard 4MT 2-6-4T No. 80080 will be leaving the East Lancashire Railway due to becoming surplus to requirements for the remainder of 2020 season and is unlikely to see any use there in 2021. So the locomotive will return home to her owners the Princess Royal Locomotive Trust at their base at Midland Railway Centre at Butterley in Derbyshire.

BR Standard 4MT 2-6-4T No. 80080 will be hauling passenger trains at the Midland Railway Centre on the 16th-17th and 23rd- 24th of February which will be a rare opportunity. After those two weekends the locomotive will head back to the East Lancashire Railway for a few years.

No. 80080 is returning to the East Lancashire Railway with a fresh 10 year boiler ticket after having overhaul work carried out by its owners the Princess Royal Locomotive Trust at there base at the Midland Railway Centre. The BR Standard 4MT Tank will be running at the Spring Steam Gala at the East Lancashire on the 8th to 10th of March 2019.

BR Standard 4MT 2-6-4T No. 80080 is currently back at its owners the Princess Royal Locomotive Trust base at the Midland Railway Centre at Butterley in Derbyshire. Where its in the final stages of some overhaul work which is due to be completed and enter service again there.

80080 has returned back to the Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust base at the Midland Railway Centre for the winter. Its unknown if the loco will return to the East Lancashire Railway in 2017.

One of two 4MT tank locos owned by the Princess Royal Locomotive Trust, 80080 is the BR 'Standard' development of the LMS Stanier 2-6-4T. These class 4 tank locos were popular for suburban work and as such this one saw use on the London, Tilbury and Southend line. Their other 4MT tank loco is 80098, but their real stars are the 'Princess Royal' and 'Duchess' pacifics
