The narrow gauge 1923 built Great Western Railway 2-6-2T No. 9 or No. 1213 "Prince of Wales", is currently being overhauled and is being converted back to be oil-fired again as the Vale of Rheidol Railway plans to improve its resilience against climate change and uncertain coal supplies.

This loco should be added to the Swindon list and built in 1923 with it.s sisters. The "rebuild" was a financial dodge and no significant parts of the Davies &b Metcalfe loco were used.
