The ownership of the ex NCB, Snowdown Colliery Hunslet built Austerity 0-6-0ST No. 9 "Percival" (J94 No. 68009) has been tranferred to the Locomotive Conservation and Learning Trust and will remain based at the Stainmore Railway at Kirkby Stephen in Cumbria. Currently under overhaul since 2004 the locomotive needs at least £100,000 to complete its overhaul which may get underway when the overhaul and rebuild on sole surviving North Eastern Railway C Class or LNER J21 0-6-0 No. 65033 is completed.

No. 68009 has since moved to the Stainmore Railway Company site at Kirkby Stephen where it is in storage for now as work on its overhaul can not start till a new locomotive shed has been built there.

68009 is currently being overhauled and when complete will move to its new home at The Stainmore Railway Company at Kirkby Stephen East Station in Cumbria
