RSH 7031, aka S&L No.54, is operational and in regular service often in the guise of Thomas the Tank Engine. The loco has been to the ZLSM in the Netherlands twice to their Thomas weekends and is regularly oh hire to other railways in the UK.

This locomotive has been in regular service since Christmas 2007. It has been converted to a "Thomas" lookalike design and has pannier tanks instead of the original saddle tank. Additional platework has been fitted to make it look as if it has side tanks as per Thomas. The locomotive may be hired for "Thomas" events, contact the East Anglian Railway Museum for details.
