No. 45379 has left the Mid-Hants Railway and has relocated to Locomotive Storage Ltd next to the Hornby Visitor Centre at Margate in Kent for safe storage and display there. The locomotive will remain there for five years till its time for overhaul at the Mid-Hants.

LMS Black 5 No. 45379 has been withdrawn from service having worked its last trains at the Mid-Hants Railway on the weekend of the 8th and 9th of September 2018. The locomotive is now awaiting its 10 year overhaul.
