The BR built ex LMS Ivatt Class 2MT 2-6-2T No. 41312, is heading north to Scotland for the very first time to visit the Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway for their Steam, Steel, Road & Rail Gala being held from the 11th to 13th of October 2024.

The BR built ex LMS Ivatt Class 2MT 2-6-2T No. 41312, will be visiting Didcot Railway Centre for their Autumn Steam Gala which will be a 2-6-2T themed event on the 20th to 22nd of October 2024.

The BR built LMS Ivatt Class 2MT 2-6-2T No. 41312 will be visiting the South Devon Railway for their Winter Steam Gala from the 30th of December 2022, to the 1st of January 2023.

41312 has been announced as the first visiting engine for the Great Central Railways Autumn Steam Gala on 29th September-2nd October. I believe this will be the first time an Ivatt 2MT 2-6-2T has visited the GCR.

The BR built LMS Ivatt Class 2MT 2-6-2T No. 41312 will visit the Somerset & Dorset Railway Heritage Trust at Midsomer Norton in Somerset for a short period in September 2022 to help mark the 60th anniversary of the last Pines Express that ran over the legendry Somerset and Dorset line and the revival of the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway at Midsomer Norton. No. 41312 will be hauling trains there over the weekend of the 17th and 18th of September 2022. In addition two photo charter events with 41312 will running on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th September too.

The BR built LMS Ivatt Class 2MT 2-6-2T No. 41312 will visit the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway as their third visiting locomotive for their Cotswold Festival of Steam weekend on the 3rd to 5th of June 2022. Which will have a strong Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway theme to the Gala.

No. 41312 has been sold by its owner to the Mid-Hants Railway Preservation Society which will see the loco now based on the railway as part of their running steam fleet for good.

LMS Ivatt 2MT Tank No. 41312 will be one of two visiting locomotives at the Dean Forest Railway for there Steam Gala weekend from the 15th to the 17th of June 2018. Which this will be 41312 s first visit there.
