At Eastleigh, the frames of loco has been lifted by overhead crane to be placed back on its driving wheels. Meanwhile the leading bogie and trailing truck are at Ropley on the Mid Hants Railway where work on them continues.

the not so good news is that the boiler is in worse condition than expected and needs a new inner firebox, a very expensive item. An order has been placed for a new throat plate, the back plate is being fitted and the thermic syphons have been made.
