The overhaul on the Festiniog Railway’s George England & Co. built 0-4-0ST+T No. 2 "Prince", has now been completed and the locomotive is operational again and is in the process of being painted in Garroway Green livery as part of the Festiniog Railway’s 70th anniversary of preserverd trains running again at Porthmadog back in 1955.

The Festiniog Railway’s George England & Co. built 0-4-0ST+T No. 2 "Prince", is set to return to service in 2025 to help celebrate the Festiniog Railway’s 70th anniversary of preserverd trains at Porthmadog. For this celebrations then the locomotive will be turned out in the Garroway Green livery she was painted in then in 1955.

The Festiniog Railway’s George England & Co. built 0-4-0ST+T No. 2 "Prince", has since been withdrawn from service having come to the end of her 10 year boiler ticket and is now about to undergo her next overhaul.

The Festiniog Railway’s George England & Co. built 0-4-0ST+T No. 2 "Prince" will be visiting the Statfold Barn Railway in Staffordshire for their Trangkil 50 Gala on the 12th and 13th of June 2021.
