The former South Eastern & Chatham Railway P Class 0-6-0T No. 27 "Primrose" is currently undergoing a heavy overhaul and rebuild at Sheffield Park sheds, which work has seen the locomotive have brand new frames made and assembled as the original frames were beyond repair. Also brand new buffer beams have been built and assembled to the front and back of the new frames and a brand new cylinder block will be fitted to the locomotive soon. A brand new coal bunker will be built as well and the water tanks are being inspected to see if they can be used again or need replacing as well?? Its planned to turn out No. 27 in ROD Olive Green livery as it would have carried during the First World War when completed, which is a bit of a way yet. But funding is still going which details can be found on both the Bluebell Railway and Little Loco Group websites and social media pages.
