The ex Preston Docks Bagnall built 0-6-0ST No. 14 "Princess" is back in service at the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway following a ten year overhaul that was completed in October 2019. Just in time to work their Santa Specials over the Christmas season.

WB 2682 Princess was one of seven Bagnalls that worked at Preston Docks until 1968. They all had steam heating apparatus for warming wagons full of Bananas. Unripened bananas are kept at 14 degrees Celsius. Cold weather would damage them. Also may have warmed them up to ripen. This is the only Preston Docks loco to survive.
