The ex Millom Ironworks Andrew Barclay built 0-4-0ST No. 1 "David" has returned to traffic at its Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway home following completion of overhaul from the 2nd of April 2019. The locomotive is in use for station pilot duties as well as working some of the railways off peak service and double headed Santa Specials at Christmas.

“David” is an 0-4-0ST built by Andrew Barclay (2333) in 1953 and delivered to the Millom Ironworks in Cumbria where she carried the number 13. She is operational, at the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway, in Cumbria. She was one of the final locomotives of this type in traffic, not being withdrawn until 1993.
