The ex East Brussels Tram Company, Cockerill built 0-4-0VBT IV Type tram engine No. 8 "Lucie", is visiting Locomotion at Shildon in County Durham for their Railways Past event from the 24th of May to the 1st of June 2025.

The ex East Brussels Tram Company Cockerill built 0-4-0VBT tram engine No. 8 "Lucie" is currently visiting the Brussels Tram Museum (Musée du Transport Urbain Bruxellois or Museum voor het Stedelijk Vervoer te Brussel) her homeland of Belgum and the city of Brussels to celebrate their 40th anniversary. As part of the celebrations the locomotive is operating on part of the tram network she worked on when first built for the first time in preservation.

The ex East Brussels Tram Company Cockerill built 0-4-0VBT tram engine No. 8 "Lucie" is making a short visit over the channel to her homeland of Belgium to its home city of Brussels for a visit to the Brussels Tram Museum (Musée du Transport Urbain Bruxellois or Museum voor het Stedelijk Vervoer te Brussel).

The ex East Brussels Tram Company Cockerill built 0-4-0VBT tram engine No. 8 "Lucie" is making her first visit away from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway to visit the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway for the very first time to take part in their Railway Rally Event from from the 25th to the 28th of June 2021.

The former East Brussels Tram Company Cockerill built 0-4-0VBT tram engine No. 8 "Lucie" has been steamed and moved under her own power for the first time in over 20 years today at Grosmont. No. 8 will undergo a series of test runs before entering service at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

The Cockerill built vertical boiled tram engine "Lucie" has been sold and has now left the Middleton Railway. But its staying in the UK as it has been sold to two private individuals and has been moved to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for restoration. Where when restored to full working order it will be used there occasionally or spot hire to other heritage railways around the UK.

The Belgium built vertical boiled tram engine "Lucie" is currently up for sale as it has been deemed surplus by the Middleton Railway. The railway is looking for a buyer in the UK or out in Europe to give it a good home.

This loco originates from SA Cockerie de Brabons, Belgium and was imported to UK about 1988.
