Originally built by Baldwin Locomotive Works, Burnham Williams & Co, CN: 28398, in June 1906, for The Charleston Lumber Company of Wiggins SC as their locomotive #3. Sold in March 1909 to Westmoreland Lumber Company. Sold in 1914 to Baskett Lumber and Manufacturing Company of Buhl AL. Sold in June 1918 to Colleton Mercantile Company of Ritter NC. Last purchased by Mr Hittup Maddox around 1928 and stored. Fully restored in 1960 by Maddox Foundry & Machine Works in Archer FL. Locomotive history by John A. Leynes Jr. Copyright 1999.
