ILFORD reports that this is just the chassis and boiler of a loco without cab or fittings. There is only the frame and bogies of the tender. The loco was raised from the sunken World War Two freighter 'Thomas Donaldson'. Probably what would have become a Yea class but for the sinking. It is missing the leading pony truck, so appears as an 0-10-0. There is a cab marked Eu75-357 and tender sides of wooden planks marked 3577575357.

It seems to me very unlikely that an Eu75 class would have been on the 'Thomas Donaldson' as she was an American Liberty Ship built in 1944 and torpedoed by submarine U968 on March 20, 1945 near the Kola inlet off the northern coast of Russia.
