UPDAT!!! the engine appears to be Fowler B/N 4112 of 1882, ordered by Isaac & Samuel (who were agents of the company.) This confirms the line WAS infact 2ft gauge.

a few notes: 1. the engine is most likely 2ft gauge, 2. it is fowler built, and the works photographs confirms it was built 1882. i am currently searching through the fowler engine registers for it, if anyone has a particular order date that would be appreciated.
